The energy workgroup seeks out energy programs and collaborates with existing groups to implement a smarter use of energy.

OUR PROJECTS

Over the past couple years we have accomplished many projects.

We've conducted several community workshops on clean energy where we brought in resources such as Clean Energy Resource Teams (CERTS), Fresh Energy, MNIPL, and EnerChange.

We've held meetings with area church environment groups: Solar, Energy Audits, Change to LEDs, and Thermostat Upgrades.

We've met with school officials to explore solar on the schools.

We've had two of our members as a part of the Stillwater Comprehensive Plan.

We were instrumental in encouraging the City to become a GreenSteps City.
