Rotary - Bridgeview Park Dedication and Cleanup, 9/17

Stillwater Bridgeview Park Benches, Bike Racks, and Clean-up

Join an exciting event for continued natural beautification of Stillwater and the St. Croix River this Saturday, September 17th. Stillwater Sunrise Rotary and Stillwater Noon Rotary have provided funding for new park benches and bike racks to be placed at the new river overlook locations along the St. Croix River. The location is in the new Bridgeview Park (just south of the Stillwater River Boats). The City of Stillwater is organizing a formal ribbon cutting and dedication for the park on Saturday also. Attending the ceremonies will be local and state celebrities, politicians, and supporters of the St. Croix Crossing Bridge, Loop Trail, and Bridgeview Park.

After the ceremonies, volunteers will work with Stillwater foresters and Public Works to remove weeds along the riverbank (between the trail and the river only) and clean up trash along the riverbank. Here is the agenda:

  • 9:00 AM: Dedication ceremonies

  • Approx. 9:30 AM to noon: De-weed and clean-up starts (should last a couple of hours)

Join us in our continued effort to work with the city and continually beautify the St. Croix River and surrounding trails.
