About the Event
Kiss the Ground is a non-profit and a documentary. The movie illuminates the decades long consequences that chemical fertilizers and pesticides have had on soil health and climate. And yet, it is a powerful antidote to angst about climate change. The movie takes viewers from paralysis to hope and invites everyone to participate in land stewardship.
Established in 2013, the mission of Kiss the Ground is to awaken people to the benefits of regenerative farming practices that sustain healthy soil through carbon sequestration. Carbon sequestration is the removal of CO2 from the atmosphere by plants and micro-organisms and its storage in soils. The answer is in the soil!
Kiss the Ground is optimistic and timely in the face of extreme climate events. You’ll see your garden and the challenge of climate change with fresh eyes.
