About Progam:

The Valley Network Program serves as Sustainable Stillwater MN’s regional connector, strengthening relationships across the St. Croix Valley among businesses, residents, organizations, and local leaders working toward a more sustainable future. By acting as a central hub, SSMN helps align shared goals, reduce duplication of efforts, and foster collaboration across environmental, economic, and community initiatives. The program emphasizes practical, inclusive solutions that meet people where they are and support real-world action.

Through education, networking, and community-centered programming, the Valley Network builds pathways for participation in sustainability. Businesses are supported in adopting environmentally responsible practices, residents are invited into hands-on learning and creative engagement, and community members of all ages are encouraged to connect sustainability with daily life. By blending professional development, community gatherings, youth engagement, and cultural storytelling, the program creates a welcoming entry point for people at every stage of their sustainability journey.

The Valley Network also amplifies local impact by elevating successful ideas, supporting emerging initiatives, and responding to community-identified needs. By nurturing partnerships and encouraging cross-sector collaboration, the program strengthens the region’s collective capacity to care for the land, support local economies, and build a resilient, connected community.
