About Progam:

The Transportation Program works to create a safer, more connected transportation system that supports climate action, public health, and community accessibility. Recognizing that how people move through their community affects emissions, safety, and quality of life, this program promotes transportation choices that are inclusive, low-carbon, and people-centered.

Through education, infrastructure advocacy, and community engagement, the program encourages walking, biking, and other active transportation options as viable, everyday choices. It supports safer streets, improved connectivity, and greater confidence for riders of all ages and abilities, while also strengthening ties between transportation, local businesses, and community vitality.

The Transportation Program also supports the transition to cleaner vehicle technologies by increasing awareness, access, and understanding of electric mobility. By aligning transportation planning with climate goals and community needs, the program helps build a future where mobility is not only efficient, but equitable and resilient.
