About Event
Electric bikes are transforming the way people get around, making it easier to commute, run errands, stay active, and enjoy the outdoors. Whether you're curious about buying your first e-bike, already own one, or simply want to learn more about this rapidly growing transportation option, this free workshop will help you navigate the world of e-bikes with confidence.
Hosted by Sustainable Stillwater MN's Transportation Program and led by Rick Heidick, this educational session will feature experts from AARP Minnesota and BikeMN. Participants will gain a clear understanding of what qualifies as an e-bike, how to safely store and maintain one, what to consider before making a purchase, and the Minnesota laws and local regulations that apply to e-bike riders.
As more people look for affordable, accessible, and environmentally friendly ways to travel, e-bikes are becoming an increasingly popular choice. This workshop is designed to provide practical, unbiased information so you can make informed decisions and ride safely, whether you're using an e-bike for recreation, commuting, or everyday transportation.
Join us on Wednesday, August 12, from 5:00–6:00 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Stillwater for this engaging community learning opportunity.
Registration is free at aarp.org/MNevents or by calling 1-877-926-8300.
