On Sunday, the 4th Annual Valley Eco Fair brought the Stillwater community together for an inspiring, energetic, and record-breaking day at Pioneer Park. Hosted by Sustainable Stillwater MN, the event welcomed over 750 attendees, far exceeding expectations and highlighting the growing momentum around sustainability in our community.

With more than 50 participants, including local businesses, nonprofits, food vendors, and live music from The Algrohythms, the fair was filled with opportunities to learn, connect, and take action. Attendees of all ages explored hands-on activities and educational experiences covering pollinators, rain gardens, clean energy, transportation, water resources, night skies, and more all set against a beautiful, sunny day overlooking the St. Croix River.
A major highlight this year was the EV Test Drives, in partnership with Recharge America and Trinity Lutheran Church. Thanks to incredible community support, the program was a huge success, raising $10,000 to help install community EV chargers near downtown Stillwater. This achievement is a powerful reminder of what’s possible when a community comes together with purpose and shared vision.

Another exciting addition was the Sustainable Fashion Booth, led by student board member Amelia Kozlowski. With support from Valley Outreach, attendees reimagined donated clothing into creative new pieces, while students also designed and offered sustainable apparel for suggested donations.
From eco-themed mascots like Chomp the Carrot and Mother Earth to interactive games and exhibits, the fair was alive with creativity, learning, and joy.
This event would not have been possible without the incredible support of our sponsors, including Recharge America, Bond & Devick Wealth Partners, Green Guardian Wealth Management, Xcel Energy, Lakeview Hospital, Cornerstone Chevrolet Stillwater, Trinity Lutheran Church, and the City of Stillwater.
We are deeply grateful to every partner, participant, volunteer, board member, and community member who showed up, contributed their time and energy, and made this event so special. Your passion, creativity, and commitment are what made this such a fun and successful event!
Together, we are building a more connected, resilient, and sustainable future—It Starts Right Here!
Thank you for being part of it. We can’t wait to see you next year!
