About the Event
In celebration of National Reuse Day, Reuse Minnesota will host a free community screening and discussion of “REUSE! Because You Can’t Recycle the Planet!” on October 23, 2025, at the Minneapolis Central Library. This inspiring 2015 documentary by director Alex Eaves takes audiences on a cross-country journey to discover creative, practical, and joyful ways to reduce waste through reuse. The event includes a Q&A with Eaves and Reuse Minnesota following the screening, offering a chance to dive deeper into the movement that challenges the limits of recycling and embraces sustainable living.
Sustainable Stillwater MN proudly supports events like this that inspire action toward a circular, waste-free economy. Reuse is one of the most powerful tools for reducing waste, conserving resources, and cutting carbon emissions—key pillars of sustainability that align with Sustainable Stillwater MN’s mission. By highlighting real-world solutions that empower individuals and communities, REUSE! reflects the same spirit of collaboration and innovation that drives local sustainability efforts across Minnesota.
