Welcome to the City of Stillwater Parks!

We are excited to offer a diversity of facilities and recreational activities. Throughout Stillwater you can find the right kind of place to play, have a family reunion, a quiet picnic, relax by a lake, swim, hike trails, bicycle, cross country ski, ice skate, play soccer or baseball or even have a wedding.




Washington County Parks

Washington County consists of six regional parks, one county park, two regional trails, and one historic courthouse site. Our parks provide a gateway to scenic landscapes and treasured natural resources, unique to the Twin Cities region. With more than 4,400 acres of parkland, there are a variety of ways to discover and enjoy the outdoors. A vehicle permit is required to enter our parks.


State Parks – Minnesota & Wisconsin

Stillwater is located along the St. Croix River on the border of Minnesota and Wisconsin, so visitors have the benefit of access to both Minnesota (866.857.2757) and Wisconsin (800.372.3607) State Park system.
