SSMN at the Bridge the Valley – Bike Rally 2025

On Sunday, August 10th, 2025, the streets and trails of Stillwater came alive as over 600 cyclists joined the Bridge the Valley – Bike Rally. Riders of all skill levels pedaled through breathtaking routes, each offering spectacular views of the St. Croix Valley. 

For Sustainable Stillwater MN, the rally was about more than just riding — it was about celebrating our city’s commitment to being a Bike Friendly City as part of our GreenStep City initiative. We continue to advocate for complete streets that make cycling safer and more accessible for everyone in our community.

Our booth had several visitors throughout the day. Executive Director Andi greeted riders and families — as well as Taco the parrot! From sharing bike safety tips to discussing upcoming sustainability projects, the event was a perfect chance to connect with both seasoned cyclists and curious newcomers.

We are proud to have been part of this incredible day — one that showcases both the natural beauty of our valley and the strong cycling culture we continue to nurture here in Stillwater.
