About Event

Do you love birds and enjoy sharing your passion with others? Join Sustainable Stillwater MN as a volunteer at the Bird City Outreach Booth during the Community Watershed Celebration & Bird Festival!

Volunteers can choose from two 3-hour shifts, making it easy to fit this opportunity into your schedule. During your shift, you'll help with event setup or teardown, welcome and engage visitors at the Bird City Outreach Booth, distribute educational materials, and support hands-on activities. No prior birding experience is required—we'll provide everything you need to feel confident and have fun!


Available Shifts

  • 8:00–11:00 AM (4 volunteers) – Assist with event setup, booth preparation, and welcoming early visitors.

  • 11:00 AM–2:00 PM (4 volunteers) – Engage with festival attendees throughout the event and help with booth cleanup and teardown at the end of the festival.

This volunteer opportunity is part of Sustainable Stillwater MN's inaugural Valley Climate Action Week, making it an exciting opportunity to celebrate our Bird City community while helping educate and inspire hundreds of festival attendees. Together, we can create a welcoming experience that encourages more people to become champions for birds and the habitats they depend on.
