About the Event

Join volunteers across Minnesota and the nation for National Public Lands Day on Saturday, September 27, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. This annual event is the largest single day of service for public lands, giving community members a chance to care for the natural spaces we all enjoy. At the Stillwater site, volunteers will help remove invasive woody plants like buckthorn and honeysuckle to restore healthy habitats for native species.

Sustainable Stillwater MN is proud to support this effort because maintaining healthy public lands aligns with our mission to promote sustainability, biodiversity, and climate resilience in the St. Croix Valley. By supporting events like this, we help protect the ecosystems that sustain our community for future generations.

What to Bring: Boots, gloves, sunscreen, water, lunch, and any hand tools (pruners, loppers, hand saws). Some tools will be provided.

Perks: Free NPLD-branded item and a national park day pass for all participants! Register by September 5 to receive a t-shirt.

Registration closes September 19.
