Youth Bike Safety Rodeo Volunteer 2026

Support a fun, high-impact community event by volunteering at the Youth Bike Safety Rodeo. Volunteers are essential to creating a safe and engaging experience for young riders—helping with helmet fittings, registration, course instruction, ride leadership, food distribution, photography, and celebrating participants at the awards station.

This is a meaningful way to promote youth bike safety, encourage active transportation, and connect with the community. Multiple roles are available throughout the event, making it easy to find a good fit for your interests and availability.

Volunteer Roles

Instructor (10 needed)

Guide riders through each skills station by explaining what to expect and how to complete each element.

Ride Leader (15 needed)

Ride alongside participants to demonstrate course elements and help younger riders feel confident navigating the course.

Treats & Food Table (14 needed)

Distribute snacks and refreshments, keep supplies stocked, and maintain a clean, organized station.

Photographer (2 needed)

Capture the energy and excitement of the event by taking photos of riders, volunteers, and activities throughout the day.

General Timing

Most volunteer roles run approximately 9:15 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. (Some roles, like Photographer, may have slightly adjusted times.)
