Crutches 4 Africa

On April 12th, the Stillwater Sunrise Rotary, in collaboration with Crutches 4 Africa, is hosting a final community collection event to provide life-changing mobility aids to individuals in need across Africa. Millions of people face mobility challenges due to injury, illness, or disability, yet many lack access to the equipment they need to move independently. This initiative aims to collect and ship 3,000 mobility devices to ensure these essential tools reach those who need them most.

Sustainable Stillwater MN is proud to support this effort, recognizing its dual impact—promoting climate and social justice while keeping valuable medical equipment out of landfills. By donating used crutches, canes, walkers, wheelchairs, and other mobility aids, community members can directly improve lives and contribute to a more sustainable future.

Accepted Items:

✔️ Walkers

✔️ Orthotic devices (e.g., walking boots, knee braces)

✔️ Wheelchairs

✔️ Baby joggers (not baby strollers)
