About the Event
Composting not only reduces the amount of trash in landfills but also can save money on soil for your yard, garden, or flower beds. Learn the science behind and the benefits of home composting, including information on different composting methods, recommended compostable materials, and common uses of compost around the yard and garden.
This class is offered by the Ramsey County Garden Educators, a community of trained horticulture volunteers dedicated to promoting sustainable gardening practices and environmental stewardship in Ramsey County, Minnesota. Through educational workshops, community gardens, and outreach programs, they provide research-based gardening knowledge and hands-on support to local residents. Their mission is to empower the community to cultivate healthy plants, people, and environments.

Cost: $5/free for co-op owners
