River Bluff Restoration at Arcola Mills

Help restore a special piece of the St. Croix River landscape at Arcola Mills. Join Great River Greening for a hands-on restoration day in a mature bluff forest known for its diverse understory and rare plant species. Volunteers will plant native trees, shrubs, and herbaceous plants to strengthen pollinator resources and increase plant diversity throughout the site. Other tasks may include installing tree tubes, fencing planting areas, and removing invasive species.

By volunteering, you can help care for a unique local ecosystem while supporting native plants, pollinators, wildlife, and the long-term health of the river bluff.
