About the Event
On Saturday, May 10, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, the Stillwater Police Department and Sustainable Stillwater MN are hosting the SPD/SSMN Bike Safety Rodeo at the St. Croix Valley Recreation Center Dome (1675 Market Dr, Stillwater, MN). This exciting event is designed for beginner cyclists to learn essential riding skills and safety practices on an actual riding course. In addition to honing their cycling abilities, kids will receive free bike maintenance checks, helmet fittings, and enjoy a free hot dog lunch and special gifts for attending! Space is limited to 120 participants, so parents must RSVP to secure a spot for their children.
We’re seeking 8 volunteers to help with this fun and educational event! Volunteers will assist with setting up the course, helping kids with bike safety checks, guiding the participants on the riding course, and ensuring the event runs smoothly. This is a great opportunity to support local youth while promoting bike safety in our community. If you’re interested in volunteering, please sign up and help us make this event a success!
