How to Create a Team

Getting started is simple and only takes a few minutes:

1. Sign up for the Clean Energy Challenge Visit https://www.ssmn-cec.org/ and create your free account (or log in if you already have one).
   

2. Join the Challenge Make sure you’re enrolled so your actions count toward Sustainable Stillwater MN’s community-wide impact.
   

3. Create your team Navigate to the Teams section and select the option to create a new team. Give your team a name—this could be your neighborhood, business, department, or anything that inspires your group.
   

4. Start tracking actions Once your team is set up, begin completing actions related to clean energy, efficiency, transportation, food choices, and more.

Invite Your Neighbors or Co-Workers

This is where the magic really happens. After your team is created:

• Invite neighbors on your block or in your building

• Ask co-workers to join as a workplace sustainability challenge

• Share your team link via email, social media, or group chats

Let them know it’s easy, free, and flexible—participants choose actions that fit their own lives and schedules.
