About the Event
Join us at Brown’s Creek Park for a day dedicated to making our trails safer and more enjoyable for everyone. Volunteers from the Gateway Brown's Creek Trail Association (GBCTA) and Sustainable Stillwater MN (SSMN) will be stationed along Brown's Creek Trail with tents providing information on trail safety and etiquette.
Event Highlights:Â
- Trail Safety Information: Volunteers from GBCTA and SSMN will engage with trail users, including walkers and bikers, to share important trail safety guidelines and hand out "safety cards."
- Interactive Discussions: Visitors can leave the trail to participate in more detailed and longer discussions about trail safety at the tents.
- Community Engagement: Learn how we can work together to enhance the safety and enjoyment of our local trails.
Volunteer Opportunities:Â
We are looking for volunteers familiar with the "7 rules" of trail safety and who can discuss these elements with trail users. If you’re interested in volunteering, please contact Rick Heidick, leader of the Bicycle Friendly Community workgroup, at rick@sustainablestillwatermn.org.
Join us for a fun and informative day as we work together to promote trail safety and community engagement!
