Sustainable Stillwater MN Named 2026 Nonprofit of the Year

Sustainable Stillwater MN was honored to be named Nonprofit of the Year by the Greater Stillwater Chamber of Commerce at the 2026 Community Awards. We are truly humbled and grateful for this recognition.

What makes this award so meaningful is that it reflects the work of an entire community. From our dedicated board members, program and project leaders, staff, and volunteers to our community partners, green businesses, local governments, and youth leaders, so many people help make this work possible. Your collaboration, ideas, and commitment continue to strengthen sustainability across the St. Croix Valley.

Sustainable Stillwater MN is proud to be a community-driven organization focused on practical solutions that demonstrate how the economy, environment, and community come together to help the St. Croix Valley thrive. Whether through stewardship projects like Trash Dashes, promoting healthier transportation options, Bird City Stillwater, or partnerships that support local businesses and sustainable practices, this work is powered by people who care deeply about the place we call home.

A special thank you to the Greater Stillwater Chamber of Commerce for this incredible honor and for 135 years of supporting and uplifting our region. It was a wonderful evening celebrating the many individuals and organizations who make our community so strong.
