Have you noticed more people zipping around town on electric bikes? From commuting to work and running errands to exploring local trails, e-bikes are becoming one of the fastest-growing ways to travel—and for good reason.

On Wednesday, August 12, from 5:00–6:00 p.m., Sustainable Stillwater MN's Transportation Program is partnering with AARP Minnesota and BikeMN to offer a free educational workshop at Trinity Lutheran Church in Stillwater.
During this engaging session, participants will learn:
🚲 What qualifies as an e-bike—and what doesn't
🔧 How to safely store and maintain an e-bike
🛍️ What to consider before purchasing one
📖 Minnesota e-bike laws and local regulations
Whether you're shopping for your first e-bike, already own one, or simply want to better understand this growing transportation option, you'll leave with practical knowledge to help you make informed decisions.
Why E-Bikes Matter
Transportation is one of the largest sources of greenhouse gas emissions in Minnesota, but not every trip requires a car. E-bikes provide an affordable, convenient, and sustainable alternative for many everyday trips while making cycling more accessible to people who may not otherwise ride.
Choosing an e-bike can mean less time searching for parking, fewer transportation costs, more physical activity, and a smaller environmental footprint—all while making local trips more enjoyable.
Join Us!
We hope you'll join us for this free community workshop and discover how e-bikes can support healthier people, cleaner air, and more connected communities.
