Pedal Forward with Stillwater's New Downtown Sign Upgrades! 🚴‍♂️🌳

Attention all pedal-pushers and cycling enthusiasts of Stillwater! Have you noticed anything new on your favorite downtown trail? If you haven’t, it’s time to grab your helmet and head out because we've got some exciting news for you!

In collaboration with the amazing Shawn Sanders from Stillwater Public Works, Sustainable Stillwater MN (SSMN) has jazzed up the trail with brand-new bike signs! This vibrant initiative isn't just to bring more colors to the trail, but to make your cycling experience even smoother and safer.

Wondering where to park your bike while you take a stroll downtown? We’ve got you covered! Check out the new signs that seamlessly direct you to public bike parking spots at Nelson/Main, Myrtle/Main, and that ever-buzzing plaza on Water Street, right next to the lovely Daily Grind!

Not only that, but if you're cycling around and need a quick pit stop, there are fresh signs pointing out the downtown public restrooms. And for those moments when the trail gets a little crowded, our new "share the trail" signs on the promenade serve as a friendly reminder to look out for one another.

This sprucing up of signage isn't just for aesthetics or convenience; it's a massive leap forward in our journey to promote a Bicycle Friendly Community. A huge shoutout to everyone involved, especially the dedicated Bicycle Friendly Community workgroup, for making this a reality!

So, the next time you're out and about, look out for these signs and let them guide your journey. As always, let’s roll towards a sustainable future, one pedal at a time.

Happy cycling, Stillwater! 🌿🚴‍♀️🎉
