We’re excited to announce a new way to show your support for Sustainable Stillwater MN: SSMN swag is now available!
As an organization committed to sustainability, we don’t want to encourage fast fashion or buying things that won’t be used. That’s why we intentionally selected apparel made with more responsible materials.
Our premium crewneck sweatshirt is crafted from 80% certified organic cotton and 20% recycled polyester, with a soft, 100% organic cotton face. Our midweight tee is made from 100% certified organic combed and ringspun cotton. Both offer a comfortable, modern unisex fit and feature recycled polyester labels.
We’re also avoiding bulk orders. We don’t want to purchase boxes of merchandise that may sit unused or eventually go to waste. Instead, each item is made on demand, so you can choose an item and design that genuinely speaks to your style — and hopefully something you’ll be excited to wear again and again.

Why We Chose Bonfire
Our SSMN swag shop is hosted through Bonfire, an online platform that helps organizations design and sell custom apparel without maintaining their own inventory.
Bonfire handles payment processing, order fulfillment, and customer service, while SSMN can focus on what matters most: connecting with our community and supporting local sustainability.
Bonfire’s zero-inventory model was an important part of our decision to use the platform. Their apparel is produced on demand, helping avoid excess merchandise that can go unsold or become waste. Bonfire also uses water-based inks and offers apparel made with a variety of more environmentally responsible fabrics.
The company also reports using 100% recycled shipping bags, recycling plastisol ink waste from its supply chain, and requiring its apparel manufacturers to be WRAP certified.
