September gave us plenty of reasons to celebrate—and we have YOU to thank!

Our communications are reaching more people, connecting neighbors with local sustainability efforts, and helping spread the word about what’s happening right here in the St. Croix Valley. And the numbers show just how much your engagement matters!

Here are a few September highlights:

• Instagram is growing! Our following is 3 times higher than similar business pages. Thanks for following along, sharing our posts, and helping more people discover SSMN.
  

• Our website is standing out. We’re outperforming 83% of nonprofits nationwide in social media performance, 89% in unique visitors, and 76% in average session duration. That means people are finding us, exploring what we do, and sticking around!
  

• You keep coming back! 12% of our website traffic comes from returning visitors—a higher share than most nonprofits. We’re especially grateful for those of you who make us part of your regular sustainability routine.
  

• Our newsletter had its best month of the year! A 54% open rate and an 11% click rate—nearly double and triple nonprofit averages, respectively. We’re glad you’re opening those emails and checking out what’s inside!

Every open, click, share, and visit helps sustainability conversations travel a little farther. Maybe you discover a local event, pass along a useful resource, or inspire a friend to get involved. Those small moments add up!
