Join Us for the Next “Plant a Seed” Meet-up in Downtown Lake Elmo

Sustainable Stillwater MN is excited to announce our next Plant a Seed Meet-up — an exclusive event for members of our Green Business Directory — happening Wednesday, July 16 from 5:00–6:30 PM in downtown Lake Elmo.

This ongoing series is designed to inspire, connect, and grow our green business community. But this time, we’re doing things a little differently.

What makes this event unique? We’ll take a walking tour through three neighboring Green Business Members, all within one block, and hear directly from the business owners about how they’ve integrated sustainability into their operations — with support from BizRecycling grants.

Event Highlights:

🪴 Start at Establish Salon – Meet co-owners Gaby and Ninna, joined by guest Heidi from Juniper Organizing, to learn about their eco-conscious salon model. 

🪴 Next Stop: Thrive-HQ – Owners Matt and Greg will share how their coworking and creative space was designed with sustainability in mind. 

🪴 Final Stop: Lake Elmo Inn – Owner Chef John will speak on how the Inn embraced green upgrades. Stick around to purchase a beverage or food and connect with other members.

Who Can Attend: This event is exclusively for Green Business Directory members. Each member business is welcome to bring up to three guests — whether it’s a colleague, partner, or friend interested in the green business movement.
