Volunteer with Us at the MN State Fair!

Sustainable Stillwater MN is headed to the Minnesota State Fair, and we’re looking for two enthusiastic volunteers to help us spread the word about our Green Business Directory—a hub for discovering local businesses that prioritize sustainability and reuse.

We’ll be tabling inside the Eco Experience Building, where fairgoers can learn how to find and support green businesses—and enter to win a prize donated by Park + Coop!

Volunteer Details:

👤 Ages 18+ only

⏰ Shift 1: 3:00–6:00 PM

⏰ Shift 2: 6:00–9:00 PM

📍 Location: Eco Experience Building, MN State Fair

🎟️ Volunteers receive free admission to the fair (parking not included)

Duties Include:

• Greet fairgoers with a smile

• Share what the Green Business Directory is and how to use it

• Highlight local businesses featured in the directory, especially those focused on reuse

• Encourage visitors to enter the drawing for a donated prize

• Represent Sustainable Stillwater MN with positivity and purpose!

This is a great chance to engage with the public, support local sustainability, and enjoy a few hours at the Great Minnesota Get-Together!
