Sustainable Stillwater MN (SSMN) is growing, and we’re excited to share that we’re hiring two part-time positions to help support our impact in 2026 and beyond.

If you’re passionate about sustainability, care deeply about your community, and are looking for flexible, meaningful part-time work, this might be a great fit for you.

We’re a fun, scrappy, collaborative team doing work that matters in Stillwater and the St. Croix Valley.

Program Assistant (Part-Time)

An outward-facing role that helps with:

• Community programs and events

• Volunteer coordination

• Event follow-up and data tracking

• Supporting sustainability projects across our pillars

Administrative Assistant (Part-Time)

A behind-the-scenes role that helps keep everything running smoothly, including:

• Thank-you notes and outreach follow-up

• Scheduling, calendars, and shared drives

• Reports, records, and grant follow-up

• Organization and administrative support

Both positions are part-time (20 hours per month) with flexible scheduling and a mix of remote and occasional in-person work.

These roles are ideal for someone who:

• Is passionate about sustainability, the environment, and community impact

• Wants flexible, part-time work with purpose

• Enjoys being part of a collaborative, mission-driven team
