Sustainable Stillwater MN’s Green Business Directory is excited to host the September Plant A Seed event on Tuesday, September 16, from 5:30–7:00 PM at The Miller Apartments in Stillwater. This monthly gathering is designed for Green Business Directory members and local business owners interested in sustainability, offering a relaxed space to learn, share ideas, and strengthen community connections.

This month, the focus is on wine. Wine is a beloved staple for many, but understanding what goes into your glass isn’t always easy. From confusing certifications to hidden additives, it can be a challenge to make choices that are good for your body and the planet. That’s why we’re thrilled to welcome Ashley Hausman of So What Wine, who will guide attendees through the essentials of sustainable winemaking. Learn how grapes are grown, how wine is made and packaged, and what to look for when shopping for environmentally conscious options.
