We are thrilled to welcome Amelia Kozlowski as the newest Student Board Member of Sustainable Stillwater MN!

Amelia is a junior at Stillwater Area High School and brings a vibrant, creative energy to our organization. A self-described fashionista, she is especially passionate about the intersection of sustainability and style. Her interest in sustainable fashion reflects a growing global movement to rethink consumption habits and reduce the environmental impact of fast fashion.
This is Amelia’s first time working with Sustainable Stillwater MN, and she is eager to make a meaningful impact. She is motivated by a desire to spark excitement around
sustainability within the community and to amplify youth voices in conversations about the climate crisis. Her goal is to help bring fresh ideas, positive energy, and a dynamic perspective to the Board of Directors.
Amelia already demonstrates strong leadership within the Stillwater community. Through her involvement in her school’s Sustainable Fashion Club, she connects with fellow students who share a passion for environmental responsibility. She also serves as a youth advisor with Youth United Way, gaining valuable experience in leadership, collaboration, and community engagement.
Her sustainability interests are wide-ranging and forward-thinking. Amelia is particularly focused on reducing reliance on fast fashion, advancing sustainable infrastructure, and preserving our National Parks for future generations. These priorities align beautifully with our mission to promote environmental stewardship and community resilience in the Greater Stillwater area.
We are excited to see the creativity, leadership, and enthusiasm Amelia will bring to the board. Please join us in giving her a warm welcome as she begins this new chapter with Sustainable Stillwater MN!
