Climate Trivia: A Night of Fun, Facts & Friendly Competition

Who says learning about climate and sustainability has to be serious? Not us! 🧠🌎

As part of Valley Climate Action Week, Sustainable Stillwater MN teamed up with the Brown’s Creek Watershed District for a special Climate Trivia Night at Lift Bridge Brewing Co. on September 15.

About 40 community members came out for a relaxed night of friendly competition, putting their knowledge to the test with questions about climate, conservation, wildlife, renewable energy, sustainability, and local environmental efforts.

The goal was simple: have fun, learn something new, and bring people together — and the night delivered. Attendees left with new climate and conservation knowledge, made connections with others in the community, and had plenty of fun along the way.

And the prizes kept things on theme! Winners took home climate-related books and plants, including signed copies of What If We Get It Right? by Ayana Elizabeth Johnson.

The evening also highlighted what makes partnerships so valuable. SSMN was grateful to collaborate with the Brown’s Creek Watershed District and enjoyed creating a welcoming event where learning and community connection could happen over a little friendly competition.
